Target audience: Ag lenders Use case: You want to find mortgages in your market that are held by a competitor and coming up for renewal, so you can start engaging those borrowers before they renew. The Mortgages report has a lot of filters. This workflow uses just a handful of them to get you started.

Open the Mortgages Report

1
Click Reports in the left-hand menu
2
Click Mortgages

Filter to Your Market

1
In Mortgage County, State, select the counties you work in (for example, DeKalb, IL and Boone, IL). This narrows the report from every mortgage in your account down to just the mortgages in those counties.
The Borrower State and Borrower County, State filters are based on where the borrower lives, not where the property is. For prospecting in your market, use the Mortgage location filters instead.

Filter to a Competitor

1
In Mortgage Lender, choose contains and type the competitor’s name (for example, “Chase”)
2
Select all of the matching lender names. The same lender is often entered several different ways (for example, “JPMorgan Chase Bank NA” and “JP Morgan Chase Bank”), so contains catches every variation.

Filter to Mortgages Coming Up for Renewal

1
In Mortgage Origination Date, choose in the year and enter the year the mortgages you want to target were taken out. For example, entering 2022 shows mortgages originated four years ago that will be up for renewal in 2027.
2
Click Update
You can narrow the list further with the Contact filters, which let you include or exclude people who are already contacts in CamoAg.

Work the List

The Borrower and Mortgage Details table shows each matching mortgage, including the operation, borrower names, lender, location, and mortgage amount.
  • Download the list: click the three vertical dots at the top right of the table, then Download
  • View a mortgage on the map: open the mortgage in the map to see the parcel it’s on, the mortgage details, and other mortgages nearby, so you can spot additional refinancing opportunities
