What are Portfolios?
- Flexible way to organize your land
- Farms can belong to multiple portfolios and can be easily added and removed
- Users can be assigned to portfolios which allows them to quickly see farms relevant to them. By default if a user has access to a portfolio they have edit and view access to any farm in that portfolio.
- Portfolios do not assign organization or legal entity permissions to users

- No. Portfolios are meant to help organize properties in easy to find locations and aren’t intended to replicate a filing system.

- Any user with organization permissions
- You work closely with members of another team such as appraisers or financial officers, create portfolios to help keep farms important to each group organized to avoid duplicate work across teams.
- Managing acquisitions pipelines (Prospect, Pending, Acquired)

- Permissions were created at the portfolio level to allow users to create and share farms, but restrict other users from making edits if they so choose
- Portfolio Admin: Can add or remove users, add or remove farms, edit or delete the entire portfolio,
- Portfolio Edit: Can edit or delete the entire portfolio, add and remove farms to the portfolio, allows user to make edits to farms they did not create
- If you create a portfolio, by default you are the Admin of that portfolio

- By adding a user to a portfolio, but not assigning them portfolio permissions, you are giving them View Only access to farms in the portfolio that they have not added to the platform themselves.
- Users invited to a portfolio will receive an email notification

- Organization Admins can edit or delete any portfolio
- Non-administrative users with organization permissions can only edit or delete portfolios they created or have Portfolio Admin or Edit permissions
- User added to an organization, but granted permissions at the Legal Entity level, will only be able to add land to portfolios they are assigned
- Only the portfolio is deleted, the farms assigned to that portfolio do not get deleted

- Users with organization permissions are able to see all Portfolios that have been created in the Account Settings. However, they are only able to filter for portfolios or add a farm to a portfolio for which they have created or been invited.
- Users added to the organization, who do not have organization permissions are able to see only the portfolios
Is there a limit on the number of portfolios I can create?
Is there a limit on the number of portfolios I can create?
- No. However, it is usually best to start with fewer portfolios and add more as needed.

- This is entirely up to you, but a good approach is to consider how you want to be able to view the information in your account or filter in a report. Creating too many portfolios may make it more time consuming to track down a piece of land.
