CamoAg’s search experience is moving from a dashboard-first layout to a map-centric one. The static top navigation bar is going away, and its items now live in a panel on the left side of the map. When you log in, you’ll be taken straight to the map instead of a dashboard.

Set A Default Location

If you have not done so already, navigate to your Account > Account Settings and set one or more Default Locations. This will ensure the map centers in on your preferred counties.

Customize Your Search Preferences

Click on Search to set up your default search preferences
  • Enable the result types you wish to see on the map: Contacts, Operations, Parcels, Farms
  • Set search results to Current Map or Global
    • Current Map: Will display search results based on area that is currently in view on the map
    • Global: Search results will include information outside of the visible area of the map
  • Search Settings
    • Update search when map moves: As you zoom in and zoom out of the map, search results will update
    • Search Results Limit: Determine the number of potential search results you want to see
    • Search Confidence:
      • Low: Broadest search option. For example if searching for “John Smith” results may include results with either the first name “John” or the last name “Smith”
      • Medium: Returns search results of only people named “John Smith”
      • High: Most limiting search setting
Your default search settings can be adjusted at any time.
How can I search?
  • Map Location: Enter an Address, lat./long coordinates, town, county, state, etc. Note: If you are searching for a location on the map you must click on the Map Location option in the search bar
  • Owners: Enter the full or partial owner name, and optionally include a location such as the state. Adding a location is recommended when searching by owner, as it helps narrow the results. For example, searching for John Smith, Peoria IL will return more accurate results than searching for “John Smith” alone.
  • Parcels: Enter a parcel ID into the search bar and optionally enter a location such as the state, town, or county
  • Contacts: Your organization must be creating contacts, uploading contacts, or have a CRM integration in order to search by a Contact
  • Farms: Search for a property you have added to your account by name
