### Market Presence & Branding

**>50% Branded**\
More than half of the operation’s production is sold under a distinct brand (vs. commodity channels), indicating vertical integration, direct-to-consumer sales, or value-added positioning.

### Ownership & Investor Profile

**Absentee Investor**\
An owner of agricultural land or operations who does not live on or actively manage the property; typically leases land to operators.

**Corporate Entity**\
A farm or ranch owned/operated by an LLC, corporation, partnership, or other registered business structure rather than an individual.

**Estate or Trust**\
Agricultural assets held within an estate or trust structure, often for succession planning, tax management, or intergenerational transfer.

**Succession Risk**\
Heightened likelihood that an operation may transition ownership due to aging operators, lack of heirs, or unclear succession planning.
