# Farm Comparative Market Analysis (CMA)

> Build and share a valuation for a farm, backed by comparable sales.

A Comparative Market Analysis values a farm against comparable sales in its area, and exports as a PDF you can hand to a client. CMAs live on the farm's **Farmland Insights** tab, under **Market Analysis**.

<Note>
  Creating a CMA requires a CamoAg subscription and edit permission on the farm. Anyone with read access can view a CMA that already exists.
</Note>

## Farmland Insights

**Market Analysis** sits alongside three other insight cards on the tab:

| Card | What it gives you |
| ----------------------- | ----------------------------------------------- |
| Estimated Gross Revenue | A calculator for the farm's gross revenue. |
| Yield Data & Insights | County yield averages and related resources. |
| Rent Value | Historical rental values for farms in the area. |
| Market Analysis | Farm value, sales data, and comps. |

## Creating and managing CMAs

**Create new CMA** opens the farm on the map, where you select the comparable sales to build from. A farm can hold as many analyses as you need — each one is a separate version.

The **Market Analysis History** table lists every analysis on the farm. From a row's menu you can:

* **View this CMA**
* **Make a copy** — start a new version from an existing one
* **Delete CMA**

The most recent analysis is pinned above the table as **Latest Version**.

  <Accordion title="Estimated Market Value">
    On automated analyses, CamoAg's own estimate stands in for the summary, with a confidence level attached.

  <Accordion title="Comparable Farms">
    The sales the valuation is built from, listed and mapped. **Update Farms** changes which comps are included.

## Exporting

**View PDF** renders the analysis as a report — summary, comps, and preparer details, minus anything you chose to hide. You must be signed in to export.
